Obituary of William F. Palumbo

WILLIAM F. PALUMBO

 

William F. Palumbo, of Billerica, died unexpectedly at  his home on March 9, 2024 at the age of 68. Born in Somerville, Mass., the son of Wilbur F. Palumbo and Margaret (Sullivan) Palumbo, he was a graduate of Medford High School. He lived in Medford for many years before becoming a long-time resident of Billerica.

After graduating from Medford High School he worked at Excell Porcelain Company, Pitney Bowes and Ricoh Company before retiring two years ago. A skilled handyman, Bill enjoyed doing various home improvement projects such as painting, gardening and landscaping. He was an excellent conversationalist and enjoyed music, movies, Boston sports teams along with being a car buff. One of his favorite hobbies was following the weather patterns with his various gauges and instruments. Bill will be dearly missed by loving family and his many friends who referred to him as “Doc”.

 

He is survived by his sister, Karen Cruciotti and her husband, Robert, of Florida, his brother John Palumbo and his wife Carol, of Billerica and several nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 9 AM at Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Road, (Rt. 3A), Billerica followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
